In the Greek language, “phileo” refers to a type of love characterized by friendship, warmth, fondness, and affection. It’s also defined as : to show signs of love. And we find the phileo love throughout both the Old and New Testaments, to describe different bonds that existed between many characters, including Jesus and his disciples.

In CSN, we want to express this love towards everyone who is added to our church and community, because we do not take your presence for granted. And as the Bible says:

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!”

So, we want to invite you specially to get to know you, allow you to bond with our team and other brethren, and also to introduce the church to you and take the time to answer all the questions you might have for us.

The Phileo welcome lunch is primarily for all new comers of the quarter, since we hold them each fourth month (April, August, December), which happens to be our fellowship months.
